The terminal module allows you to open a terminal connection to your device.

This guide will teach you how to create and configure a terminal module for your device.

Prerequisite: Enable SSH and terminal access

Before you can use the terminal module, you'll have to configure your device for SSH and terminal access.

Step 1: Create a terminal module

1. In Formant, navigate to the device view to which you want to add a terminal module. You can do this by going to Settings >> Views and selecting the view you want, or by clicking on your device, going to the desired view, and clicking the dropdown arrow next to the view >> Edit... >> Edit Layout.
2. In the Edit Layout window, click Add Module >> Terminal.
