How long will our ingested data be accessible?

Data retention is a parameter that you control. The default is six months, but it can be increased upon request with a corresponding increase in consumption cost.

What is the format of exported data?

That depends on how you export the data. See our How data export works doc for more detail.

How does Formant store video data?

All telemetry video data ingested via the Formant agent is in H264 format. It is technically possible to ingest and export other video formats using alternative ingestion methods, but they would not be visualizable in the web application.
